Hi there — I’m Tiffany, a live event artist specializing in luxury calligraphy, engraving, and personalized experiences and the creative force behind SLM & Design Co.

I live in South Central Pennsylvania with my fiancé, Shaquille, and our two beautiful children, Layla and Milo.

My journey into calligraphy and live event artistry began unexpectedly during my time as a Physical Therapist Assistant. What started as creating seasonal chalkboard signs to brighten our waiting room rekindled a passion for creativity I had set aside for years. That spark led to painting a mural for our Cancer Rehabilitation Program and ultimately helped me realize that art wasn't simply a hobby, but the work I was meant to pursue.

As a former collegiate basketball player, I've always been drawn to the discipline, focus, and preparation required to perform at a high level. Those same qualities now shape every event and activation I take on. Encouraged by a coworker's simple but powerful words—"You're in the wrong business"—and motivated by a desire to build a life centered around both creativity and family, I took the leap to pursue calligraphy, engraving, and personalized event experiences full-time.

Why the name SLM & Design Co.?

SLM & Design Co. is more than a business name. It's a reflection of the people who inspire me every day.

When it came time to name my company, I wanted to honor the family at the heart of everything I do. Their love, support, and encouragement gave me the confidence to pursue a creative path and build a business centered on meaningful experiences and personalized artistry.

The initials represent the three people who mean the most to me:

  • “S” for Shaquille, my fiancé
  • “L” for Layla, my daughter
  • “M” for Milo, my son

They are my greatest inspiration and the reason behind every step of this journey.

The letters also reflect the foundation of my work:

  • S = Signs
  • L = Lettering
  • M = Memorabilia
