Live Event FAQs
What is live event calligraphy and engraving?
Live event calligraphy/engraving also known as on-site calligraphy/engraving is when I come to your event/wedding and provide on the site hand calligraphy using my paint pens or engraving device.
Is there a minimum I need to meet to book your live event services?
Yes, for weddings I require a 4 hour minimum to accommodate your needs.
For other events, I require a 2-3 hour minimum.
What items can you engrave on?
I can engrave on metals, plastics and glass. Some examples are compact mirrors, lip glosses, candles, combs, claw clips, steel water bottles, glassware, alcoholic bottles (cannot engrave on champagne bottles), etc.
FAQs (Wedding/Event Signage)
How far in advance should I book your services?
I take inquiries as early as 12 months out, and I would suggest booking as early as possible so you can reserve your wedding date.
How do I make sure I reserve my wedding date?
I will send a proposal to you via email. You will then need to sign your contract and pay the 50% non-refundable retainer to reserve your wedding date.
What materials can you write on? And can I provide materials for you to write on?
My usual materials I write on are acrylic, glass, mirrors, and chalkboards but I always love a challenge of writing on different surfaces. You can provide the materials for me to write on by shipping them or dropping them off if you live locally.
Can I have you erase and rewrite on my signages after they have already been used?
Yes, I can erase the writing on chalkboards, acrylic, glass, and mirrored surfaces using rubbing alcohol; however, other surfaces are permanent. I will just charge the writing fee and not the cost of the product, if you want something rewritten on.
When do I need to send you my final guest count?
I typically have my clients send their final guest list 3-4 weeks before their wedding date.
When is the final 50% payment due?
The final payment is due 30 days out from your wedding date.
Do you ship or only local pick-up?
Yes, I do ship, but will charge a shipping fee. If you live locally and rather pick up your items, you can pick them up in Carlisle, PA.
